"The art of pleasing in conversation", erroneously ascribed to Cardinal Richlieu, is a translation of "L'art de plaire dans la conversation" by Pierre d'Ortigue de Vaumorière. cf. Brunet. "The secret history of the most renowned Q. Elizabeth, and the Earl of Essex" is a translation of the anonymous "Comte d'Essex histoire angloise". "The viceroy of Catalonia" and "The happy slave" are translations of Gabriel de Bre̋́mond's "Le double-cocu" and his "L'heureux esclave".
"The art of pleasing in conversation", "The secret history of the most renowned Q. Elizabeth, and the Earl of Essex", and "The viceroy of Catalonia: or, The double cuckold" each have a separate dated title page on leaves A3, N4, and R4, respectively.
"The happy slave, a novel. ... The third edition" has separate dated title page, pagination, and register.
