The two covenants, "A sacred vow and covenant to be taken by the Armies and kingdomes" (6 June 1643) and "A sacred oath or covenant, to be taken by all His Majesties loyall subjects, .." (24 June 1643), are printed on A4v. The first of these is identical to the oath taken by the Lords and Commons also on 6 June.
