No. [18] includes publisher's advertisement, on verso of title-page, as "nearly ready for delivery", of a work published in Dec. 1833.
Each volume consists of letterpress title-page, sometimes with added text, and [10] plates.
Comprises 260 lithographs, by G.E. Madeley, after Robert Seymour.
"The lithographic stones ... were effaced before the artist's death."--Cf. Everitt.
"This work will appear monthly, or more frequently if possible".-V. 1, p. [iv].
On some numbers Charles Tilt appears as publisher; occasionally in collaboration with Wilson.
