The Protestant's companion: or, An impartial survey and comparison of the Protestant religion, as by law established; with the main doctrines of popery : wherein is shewn, that popery is contrary to Scripture, primitive fathers and councils; and that proved from Holy Writ, the writings of the ancient fathers for several hundred years, and the confession of the most learned papists themselves. Whereby the papists vain pretence to antiquity, and their reproaching the Protestant doctrines with novelty, is wholly overthrown.
