Summary
Book of fifty-six cartoons inspired by humorous (sometimes farcical) interpretations of quotations from Shakespeare plays. For example, a cartoon captioned "'I make bold to press with so little preparation upon you.' Merry wives of Windsor. Act II., Scene II." depicts a woman falling directly on top of a surprised man on a public sidewalk. Each cartoon is captioned with the relevant quotation.
