Layout: Written in 2 columns of 37 lines (dimensions of written space: 252 x 180 mm); frame-ruled in ink; prickings in inner margin.
Script: Written by a professional scribe in Anglicana cursiva.
Decoration: Border in red, blue and gold of oak leaves and daisy buds on leaf 1r.
Decoration: Illuminated first initial on leaf 1r.
Decoration: 3 coats of arms at bottom of leaf 1r, central one thought to be for Sir William Clopton.
Decoration: Pen flourished initials in red and blue ink throughout.
Origin: England, no later than 1403.
