(1) September 5, 1848 to [William J.Birch]; in (2) July 12, 1834 to Countess Blessington he includes two poems, a fragment, and preliminary matter for A conference of Master Edmund Spenser...; (3) June 27, [1861?] to [William H. Dixon]; (4) June 12, 1829 to Mrs. [Margaret] Hodson; in (5) to [Robert Guthrie MacGregor] he reflects on Othello. Also, (6) a letter from Landor to an unidentified recipient, (7) a note on Chaucer, and two poems (8) on Shakespeare and (9) on Robert Browning.
