Provenance: Collection of Rt. Hon. Viscount Feilding, Newnham Paddox, Rugby; Feilding sale, Christie, Manson & Woods, Auctioneers, 8 King St., St. James's Square, London, 1 July 1938, lot 90, sold with portrait of Mary King, widow of Sir William Meredyth and first wife of William, third earl of Denbigh, a painting dated to ca. 1630 and also attributed to Miereveld; bought by Legatt Brothers, London.
Source of acquisition
Sold to B. F. Stevens & Brown Ltd., London, who then sold the paintings were received, the portrait of Mary King remains untraced.
