Public notice, presumably by Edmond Malone, strongly objecting to the use of Malone's name in the title of an edition of Shakespeare, seven volumes, 12mo, published 1786-1790 by J. Rivington and Sons.

Publication date conjectured from date of Rivington's edition. Reference in the text to '1790' as being the "long since out of print" date of Malone's 1778 edition presumably in error.
