From dealer's description: "Single sheet playbill (445 x 192mm). Theatre Royal, George’s Street, Cork. Saturday April 26th [1836 supplied (possibly incorrectly) in manuscript]. [No printer’s name is given]. Very lightly browned and with a couple of neat fold lines (one fold line has caused a brown line across the sheet) but otherwise very fine. Ira Aldridge “The Celebrated African Roscius” is advertised as playing Shylock in the Merchant of Venice and Kazrac in Aladdin: of, The Wonderful Lamp."
