Satire on fashion, claiming to represent the dress of 1735, with a crowd of people in St James's Park in front of Buckingham House. In the center is a short, fat man dressed in a heavy coat and carrying a staff with a head carved at the top. The fashions worn by the crowd include small tricorne hats and coats with extravagantly flared skirts on the men and small-brimmed hats and short hooped skirts on the women.
