Paris, n.d. [before 1712] 1 folio (190x135 mm) engraved on the front only. Some scattered foxing, minimal missing at the left edge, small hole in the lower margin. Item #4467 Rare and large "address card" of the first member of the Jollivet dynasty of papermakers, which lasted throughout the eighteenth century. Around the medallion of the Virgin and Child are four armorial shields, two with the arms of France, two with the arms of the Dauphin and the Dauphine, the Duke of Burgundy and his wife Marie Adélaïde of Savoy, both of whom died in 1712. The prospectus details the different products sold: paper, inks, waxes, seals, registers, etc. : "Jollivet, Merchant in Ordinary to the King and Madame la Dauphine, sells very fine paper from Holland, very fine and others, beaten, washed, cut, gilded, glazed, satin, [...] excellent and best-cut Dutch pens, Indian ink, the finest Spanish wax of all colors, penknives of all kinds, registers of all sizes, red and black morocco wallets of the most fashionable.
