"Illustrated by accurate and finished engravings, by the ablest artists, from such originals as were of indisputable authority." Plates are the Jansen portrait, Droeshout engraving, Stratford bust, Chandos portrait, and Marshall engraving. The larger of two editions issued in 1824.
