Summary
In Prague in 1942, a student impulsively hides a young Jewish girl in the attic of his apartment building to save her from Nazi persecutions. Their subsquently growing love for each other threatened by the discovery of her presence by his mother and other building residents who fear they will be killed for sheltering the girl.
