Note
Title and state from New Hollstein.
New Hollstein lists this print and 5 others as first being published in London in 1654 by Peter Stent and later by John Overton (date unknown) and others. New Hollstein further indicates "it is not certain how these prints were originally issued as they are not numbered" and notes similarities between these plates and those in Hollar's series Diversae avium species (issued 1658) as well as possible later combination with his Multae et diversae avium species.
